Pink clear stone is a crushed granite aggregate sized to approximately 1 inch, prized for its natural salmon-pink colour with flecks of grey and white throughout. The pink tone comes from potassium feldspar in the granite itself — it is not dyed or coated, which means the colour will not fade over time. When wet, the stone deepens to a richer rose with a natural sparkle from exposed quartz crystals.

Because it is crushed rather than tumbled, the angular edges interlock when placed, creating a more stable surface than rounded river rock. At the same time, the uniform 1-inch sizing with no fines means water drains freely through the gaps — making this a clear stone that is both decorative and functional.

Important Note

Install at a minimum of 3 inches deep for proper coverage — at 1 inch in size, a thinner layer will show gaps to the fabric or soil below. Fresh stone may have quarry dust that mutes the colour initially; the first rain will wash it off and reveal the full pink tone.
